About the Game

You wake up in a world you don't recognize, the afterlife. You don't know the rules, you don't know anyone, and something is already wrong. Your existence is fading, slowly but surely, and you need to start keep moving if you want to stay whole.

Nehyr is a tavern management and adventure game set across the realms of Yggdrasil. You captain a ship that doubles as a traveling tavern, recruit crew members you meet along the way, and earn your keep by running the tavern as you sail between worlds. When trouble finds you, you fight back through rhythm-based combat.

A crew to build. A ship to run. A reason to keep existing.

Hey everyone, the demo is finally here, and I wanted to be upfront with you before you dive in.

This is an early build. It's rough around the edges, there are things missing, and some systems are still placeholders. That's intentional, I wanted to show you where the game is right now than wait until it's perfect.

A heads-up about saves: since the game is still in active development, save files from this demo may not carry over into future versions. I'll do my best to maintain compatibility, but I can't promise it.

What I can promise is that your feedback at this stage genuinely shapes the game. If something feels off, confusing, or just not fun tell me in the comments.
